Trantor’s initiative to make children aware of the importance of going green
Chandigrah: Trantor Inc., a leading IT company of the region organized a tree plantation program on Tuesday in Mohali. Employees of Trantor were supported by junior wing students of Aashma International School, Mohali. Plantation drive was conducted on school premises and was led by Trantor’s Assistant Vice President, Ravdeep Singh.
Talking to the media about the event he said, “Trantor Go Green program is aimed at not only expanding the green cover of the tricity but also instilling the importance of preserving the environment in school children – the generation that will lead the world in the coming years. This is the first time we involved school children in any such drive and their enthusiasm gives us the confidence to do more such events in coming months.”
Mr. Ravdeep Singh also took time after the program to educate the children on the importance of going green. During his address, he mentioned how the recent smog in Delhi NCR & Punjab region affected the daily life and emphasized on the urgency of going eco-friendly in our day-to-day activities. He concluded, “Only by preserving the nature today can we hope for a bright future tomorrow”.
