We are looking for a QA Engineer to support and maintain Esuite, an Environmental Data Management Solution. The role involves ensuring the stability and reliability of a legacy VB.NET application with a Microsoft SQL Server backend, conducting test planning, executing manual/automated test cases, and assisting in debugging system issues. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in testing legacy applications, SQL- based validations, API testing, and Agile methodologies.

Role & Responsibilities

• Test and Validate Esuite Application – Conduct functional, regression, and system testing to ensure stability.
• Database Testing – Validate SQL stored procedures and database interactions for accuracy.
• API Testing – Perform testing on application APIs to ensure data integrity and communication.
• Collaborate with Development Teams – Work closely with developers to identify and resolve defects.
• Defect Management – Log, track, and verify fixes in tools like JIRA.
• Test Case Development – Create and maintain detailed test plans and test cases.
• Performance & Integration Testing – Ensure proper synchronization of Air, Waste, Water, and Energy data.
• Support Agile/Kanban Workflows – Participate in daily stand-ups and refinement meetings.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in software testing
• Strong experience in manual testing (automation is a plus)
• Proficiency in SQL queries & stored procedures testing
• Experience in API testing
• Familiarity with JIRA or other defect tracking tools
• Experience working with legacy applications
• Strong analytical and debugging skills

Nice-to-Have Skills:

• Experience testing environmental data management solutions
• Knowledge of data synchronization & automation testing
• Understanding of cloud-based deployments
